PAGB Masters of Print 2018

The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) hold an annual, nationwide photographic competition called Masters of Print.  The competition is open to individual photographers who enter under their own steam, though they must be affiliated to a Club which is a member of the PAGB.  The purpose of the competition is to find photographic prints of the highest quality for a prestigious Print Exhibition, celebrating the best of PAGB Photography for the Year.

Our congratulations go to Jo Knight for being one of only 60 photographers accepted into the Masters of Print 2018.  The Exhibition of accepted works will take place in the RK Burt Gallery in London’s Southbank from Tuesday 4th December to Friday 14th December, with the official opening ceremony on Friday 7th December, though other dates and venues around the country are under discussion for those who can’t get to the Capital.

Unlike many other competitions which are often won by the same photographers with the same images used over and over again, the Masters of Print seeks out new and emerging talent and works which haven’t previously been shown.  Only one image per photographer is allowed to be selected for the Exhibition.  This gives all Club photographers an equal chance of success, so is well worth an entry!
