Tuesday Club

Are you new to photography? Have you recently upgraded your camera to a DSLR or CSC and don’t know where to start with the buttons and dials? Are you envious of the photos you see on the internet and wonder how they’ve been captured? Do you want to improve your photography skills?

We run beginner’s workshops every 3 weeks, usually from September to January. They take place on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm-9.00pm at the new Fire Station, off Kemplay roundabout, Penrith (access via Carleton Hall Police HQ turnoff). There is ample parking on site and a drinks machine is available for refreshments. The workshops are open to both existing Club members and the public for a one-off fee of £10 which covers the whole season.

The information is aimed at budding amateur photographers and in order to make the most of the workshops you will need a camera which allows you to take control of settings, preferably have access to basic equipment such as a tripod and a laptop or computer with which to edit your images.  The sessions are not suitable for phone or pocket cameras.
